Pair Arrested in Forked River Home Burglary

Pair is accused of stealing cash, jewelry

Two people have been charged with burglarizing a home on Yorktown Drive in Forked River last week.

Renae Milko, 23, was arrested at 8 a.m. Tuesday at the Lacey Inn, police said, and a second suspect, 20-year-old Joseph Ferenc, was arrested at 3 p.m. the same day on Route 9 near Game Farm Road in Forked River.

Both are charged in the burglary, in which police say the suspects entered through a rear door and stole jewelry and cash valued at approximately $1,000.

Both suspects were taken to the Ocean County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail. Milko was also in default of an additional $426 warrant issued by the Seaside Park Municipal Court on Oct. 1, 2013.

Although the cash was not recovered, all of the jewelry was located and will be returned to the victim, police said.
