No Arrests in Reported Bar Parking Lot Fight

Altercation at Forked River House injures at least one man

A dispute in the parking lot of the Forked River House in Lacey may have turned physical, though police did not make any arrests.

Police went to the front parking lot of the bar at 1:58 a.m. on Oct. 6, police said, for a fight that reportedly involved as many as 10 people.

One Lakewood man had sustained minor injuries, police said, that were consistent with fighting. The man told police that two people he described as black males were "looking for a fight" and started to argue with his sister, another Lakewood resident.

A fight ensued after the went went to his sister's defense, he told police, eventually resulting in his sister receiving a closed-fist punch to the face.

Both of the suspects – neither of whom could be identified – were said to have fled the scene. Neither victim accepted medical attention, according to police.
