Local Woman Charged with DUI After Lacey Road Accident

Police blotter from Jan. 28 through Feb. 1

A Forked River woman was charged after a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Lacey Road.

Officer Paul Sullivan responded to the scene of a two-car accident at the intersection of Lacey Road and Vaughn Avenue on Feb. 1 at noon, arresting Anne Everitt, 41.

Everitt was traveling from Vaughn Avenue, making a left onto Lacey Road. The other car was traveling east on Lacey Road when Everitt allegedly struck the car, police said.

Everitt had minor injuries and declined first aid treatment at the scene, police said.

She was released with summonses for DUI, reckless driving and improper left turn.

Capt. David Paprota provided the following information: 

Jan. 30
An unknown person punctured the rear tires of a vehicle parked on Devoe Avenue in Forked River. The incident occurred during the overnight hours of Jan. 29 and Jan. 30. The criminal mischief and tampering with a motor vehicle consisted of $500 in damage. 

Jan. 30
A resident of Waikiki Drive in Forked River reported the theft of a green plastic canoe valued at $300. The theft is believed to have occurred between the dates of Jan. 15 and Jan. 27. The canoe was stolen from the backyard of the residence. 

Jan. 29
The rear tire of a vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence on Eagleswood Avenue in Lanoka Harbor was punctured. The incident occurred during the overnight hours and caused $110 in damages. 

Jan. 28
Bryan Schork, 34, of Toms River was arrested and charged with shoplifting $138.50 worth of merchandise from Walmart. Schork was processed and released. 

Jan. 28
Lauren Jaegge, 23, of Lanoka Harbor was arrested and charged with shoplifting $21.82 worth of merchandise from Walmart. She was processed and released.
