Local Men Arrested for DWI

Two local men have been arrested in Lacey on drunk driving charges in separate incidents.

James Tice Jr., 24, of Bayville, was arrested by Lacey police Dec. 1 after a traffic stop for improper parking in the parking lot of Wawa, on Route 9 North in Lanoka Harbor after 11 p.m.

Tice's vehicle was impounded he was transported to police headquarters. According to police, he is also under investigation for being under the influence of suboxone and Xanax. Tice was issued summonses for reckless driving and driving while intoxicated.

On Dec. 3, Officer Julie Barcalow conducted a motor vehicle stop on Bay Way near Thorn Street for speeding, according to Lacey police. 

Her investigation at the scene led to the arrest of the driver, 34-year-old Jason Keogh of Drew Avenue, for DWI. 

His vehicle was impounded by Priced Rite Towing, and he was processed and released after being charged on motor vehicle summonses with driving under the influence, reckless driving, speeding, and driving an unregistered vehicle.
