Lanoka Harbor Woman Charged With Burglary And Fraudulent Use Of A Credit Card

Rachael Nani of Lanoka Harbor was arrested on two different occasions

A Lanoka Harbor woman was arrested after allegedly burglarizing a Forked River woman’s vehicle at Gille Park, officials said.

Rachael Nani, 21, of Lanoka Harbor was arrested after she allegedly entered a vehicle at the park stealing a Coach wallet containing personal identification and credit cards at a total value of $379.

The victim was exercising at the park on June 22 at approximately 7:34 p.m. when her car was entered.

Investigation by the Lacey Township Police Department revealed that the victim’s credit cards were used to make $211.90 in unauthorized purchases at the Shoprite in Forked River.

Other chargers were attempted but the card had been locked from further transactions, the victim said.

Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Nani, who was charged with burglary, theft of removable property, and fraudulent use of a credit card. Nani was released on a summons.

Nani was also arrested on June 24 after she allegedly stole a chop saw and a sawzall valued at $400. She was charged with theft of removable property and was released on a summons.
