Two Lanoka Harbor residents are free on bail and facing shoplifting and receiving stolen property charges.
An Ocean County grand jury last week returned indictments on Douglas A. Dunsmuir and Lillian M. Dunsmuir on charges of shoplifting, two counts of receiving stolen property and conspiracy to commit shoplifting.
Authorities said the pair stole more than $500 in clothing from Kohl's in Toms River on Sept. 8, with one stealing the items while the other waited in the vehicle as a getaway driver.
The pair then brought the stolen items to Toms River and Lacey in the ensuing days, authorities said, resulting in the receiving stolen property charges.
Both initially were held on $25,000 bail but posted Sept. 18.
Grand juries also indicted:
- Gabriel S. Frigerio of Toms River and Steven C. McDuffie of Lakewood on drug charges.
The pair were arrested Dec. 9 and accused of two counts of obtaining oxycodone by fraud in Lacey and Berkeley. Both also were indicted on charges of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession with intent to distribute.
Both were released on summonses.
- Ryan Lee of Lanoka Harbor, Rema Murrar of Forked River and Scott Naia of Lanoka Harbor on a possession of cocaine charge after being arrested in Lacey May 14.
All were released on summonses.
- Sarah Murrar of Forked River on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while on her second DUI suspension.
She was released on a summons.
