Lanoka Harbor Man Charged With Burglary Of Lacey Nursing and Rehabilitation

Lacey man allegedly stole scrap metal from the former rehabilitation center

A Lanoka Harbor man was arrested and charged with the burglary of Lacey Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Corey Pelican, 21, was arrested on June 12 and charged with burglary and theft for entering the former rehabilitation center.

Pelican allegedly attempted to remove $100 worth of wire and air handlers.

Pelican’s was taken to Ocean County jail with his bail set at $2,500.

This is not the first time the rehabilitation center was targeted for scrap metal.
