Lanoka Harbor Man Charged Following Drug Investigation

350 grams of marijuana found, police say

A Lacey man has been charged with drug distribution after an investigation by the county prosecutor's office, authorities announced Thursday.

Anthony Webb, 25, of Laurel Boulevard in Lanoka Harbor, was arrested following the execution of a search warrant at his home and on his Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.

The investigation and the execution of the search warrants resulted in the seizure of approximately 350 grams of marijuana, along with assorted drug paraphernalia, electronic scales, and drug packaging materials, said Al Della Fave, spokesman for the prosecutor's office. 

Police also seized approximately $1100 in cash as well as the 2007 Silverado, which was also seized pending forfeiture proceedings.

Webb was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on his own recognizance.

The prosecutor's office, Lacey police and the Ocean County Sheriff's Department conducted the search.
