Lanoka Harbor Home Ransacked, $25,000 In Jewelry Stolen


Police are investigating the burglary of a Bay Way home in Lanoka  Harbor where someone broke through a basement window and stole $25,000 worth of jewelry, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.
 
Officer Keith Pearce responded to the house at 1:22 pm. on June 4. The resident told police someone burglarized her home between May 30 and June 4. Several rooms appeared to be ransacked  and the jewelry taken, the chief said.

The resident also said her detached garage and car were entered as well. The Lacey detective bureau and the Ocean County Sheriff's Department's Criminalistics Investigations Unit are investigating, Paprota said
