Lacey Police Investigating Theft Of Jewelry Valued At $4,450 From Forked River Home


Police recently responded to a Lancaster Court home after a resident reported that $4,450 worth of jewelry was missing, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Officers went to the home at 1:04 p.m. on June 22. The resident told police that someone stole eight pieces of jewelry from her jewelry box sometime between June 8 and 9 a.m. on June 21, the chief said.

The stolen items included a 1/2 inch gold chain bracelet, a gold tennis bracelet with diamonds, a gold chain bracelet with sapphire stones, an “Omega” style gold necklace, a gold ring with a tanzanite stone, a gold flexible bangle bracelet, a gold rigid bangle bracelet with leaves, and a men’s Movado watch with black face, Paprota said.
