Lacey Police Investigating Report of Illegal Dumping Near Bamber Lake
Lacey Township Police Department reports recent activity
Lacey police recently investigated a report of illegal dumping in the Bamber Lake section of Forked River.
At 9:53 a.m. April 22, Patrolman Jeffrey Slota received a call of a possible case of illegal materials dumping. Slota met with the Forked River Mountain Coalition, and did discover an area of debris and discarded building materials, which were then cleaned up.
Slota is currently investigating the incident, according to Lt. Scott Tirella.

At 11:48 a.m., Lacey Police received a report of a stolen motor vehicle, taken from the back of Lacey Materials in the Bamber Lake section of Forked River. The vehicle is a blue 2007 Dodge Ram pickup truck. Slota compiled a report on the incident, but the vehicle not been located.
April 22
At 2:42 a.m. Patrolman Peter Donahue arrested Ryan Smith, 24, of Barnegat, near the intersection of Route 9 and Clearwater Drive for DWI. Smith was processed and released at police headquarters.
April 21
At 2:07 p.m., Kyle Pianetti, 20, of Lacey, was arrested on South Street in Lanoka Harbor and charged with underage possession and consumption of alcohol. He was charged and released at the scene.
April 21
At 2:51 p.m., Christopher Boardingham, 30, was arrested by Patrolman John Simonson at the TD Bank on Lacey Road on an outstanding forgery warrant in the amount of $10,000 issued by Det. Brian Flynn. Boardingham was at the bank and in the process of attempting to cash another forged check at the time of his arrest, police said.
April 19
At 10:34 p.m., Laurie Harrison, 42, of the Bamber Lake section in Forked River, was arrested on a DWI charge by Patrolman Peter Donahue at the intersection of Capshaw Road and Good Luck Road.
April 17
At 6:22 p.m., Patrolman Paul Sullivan arrested Danielle Giordano, 37, of Lanoka Harbor on a DWI charge at the intersection of Bay Way and Maple Road in Lanoka Harbor. She was processed and released at police headquarters.
