Lacey Police Charge Toms River Man With Drunk Driving, Numerous Other Offenses



A Toms River man is facing a number of charges, including driving under the influence, after Lacey police recently arrested him during a motor vehicle stop, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Patrolman Dimitri Tsarnas stopped Kyle Wilson, 24, Sherry Street, Toms River at 12:57 a.m. on April 18 on Beach Boulevard near the intersection of Biscayne Drive for speeding.

An investigation at the scene led to Wilson's arrest for DUI. He was also charged with possession of marijuana, reckless driving, speeding, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, reckless driving and speeding, Paprota said.

Wilson's car was impounded as per John's Law, the chief said.
