Lacey Police Charge Manahawkin Woman With Drunk Driving

Lacey police recently arrested a Manahawkin woman after a traffic stop and charged her with driving under the influence, Police Chief David A Paprota said.

Officer Dimitrios Tsarnas conducted the stop at 11:01 p.m. on March 26 on Route 9 South near Station Drive in Forked River. He determined that Nikki L. Buck, 20, Coral Lane was driving under the influence, the chief said.

Buck was transported to police headquarters and processed. She was also charged with reckless driving, failure to maintain lane and failure to exhibit a valid insurance card, Paprota said.

The vehicle car Buck was operating was impounded pursuant to John’s Law, he said.
