Lacey police recently charged a Waretown woman with driving under the influence after an officer conducted a motor vehicle stop, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.
Officer Dimitri Tsarnas conducted the stop at 2:11 a.m. on May 4 on Route 9 near Beach Boulevard for a speeding violation. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of Danielle D. Fiorenzo, 27, Mizzen Way for driving under the influence, the chief said
She was transported to police headquarters and processed. Fiorenzo was also issued summonses for reckless driving and speeding. Her vehicle was impounded per John's Law, the chief said.
