Forked River Man Arrested For $27K In Back Child Support

The man was arrested after information was obtained showing the existence of a warrant due to the back child support being owed.

Lacey police recently arrested a 51-year-old Cedarwood Drive man on an Ocean County Sheriff's Office warrant for $27,721 in back child support, Police Chief David a. Paprota said.

A city police officer witnessed LaRocco A. Selig walking on the 300 blok of Merrimac Drive in Forked River at 5:52 p.m. on May 4, the chief said.

The officer learned that there was an outstanding warrant for Selig’s arrest. He was arrested on the warrant without incident and taken to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River, Paprota said.
