UPDATE: Lacey Man Drove Onto Yard, Destroyed Pool And Hit House, Police Say

"His bumper is still on my lawn," said the owner of the home that was struck

A 21-year-old Lacey man was recently arrested for DUI and drug possession after he drove onto a yard, destroyed an above-ground pool and then crashed into a house, police said.

Blake Patrovich drove his vehicle onto the property at 1404 Bullard Avenue in Forked River and through sections of fencing, police said.

He then destroyed the above ground pool before colliding with the residence across the street, at 1322 Lee Way in Forked River, police said.

"It looks to have cracked the foundation on my home," said Carmen Rao, the owner of the home that was struck. "His bumper is still on my lawn."

Upon his arrest on Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, around 8:45 p.m., police discovered marijuana and a marijuana smoking pipe in Patrovich’s vehicle, police said. The vehicle was impounded.

Patrovich was charged criminally with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He also received summonses for the following motor vehicle violations: DUI, reckless driving and failure to maintain a lane.
