Lacey Man Arrested For Allegedly Having Hypodermic Syringe, Drugs

A 30-year-old Lacey man was arrested last week and charged with possessing a hypodermic syringe and other drug paraphernalia, police said.

According to Lacey police:

On Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at 7:58 p.m., Officer Peter Donahue conducted a traffic stop on Laurel Boulevard in Lanoka Harbor.

Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of the driver, 30-year-old Kevin J. Kennedy of Compass Road in Forked River, for Conspiracy to Possess a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

He was transported to police headquarters and processed. Kevin Kennedy was released after receiving a criminal summons for the above violations.
