@concerned: if you feel the nj system of guidelines was unfair to your spouse then why did you allow it to be set so high? When the courts ordered my spouse to pay what I thought would impoverish him , I just told the judge to cut the figure in half so he could survive and keep his house. What would I have gained if he was homeless n broke? That would have hurt my children not just him. So go back to court and lower it if you really think it doesn't make sense. And to James Ofsanko if the custodial parent is violating visitation rights of the non-custodial parents - that's a potentially very serious charge called Interference With Custody and it's up to that parent to enforce his visitation rights!!! I helped an ex of mine do just that when his former mother in law wouldn't let him see his kid.

Do all your exes live in Texas?

That was punny. I only have one ex....note I said SPOUSE not EX-SPOUSE.

So, is that a current spouse and ex co-habitator?

Why do you ask?
