Jewelry, Laptops Stolen In OxFord Road Burglary

Lacey police are investigating a burglary in the Lanoka section of the township where numerous items were stolen, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Officer Scott Keefe and Sergeant Paul Sullivan responded to 702 Oxford Road in Lanoka Harbor at 3:52 p.m. on April 23 to a burglary report, the chief said.

The homeowner told police that when she arrived home, she discovered that the house had been forcibly entered through a window. Jewelry, two laptops and other items were stolen, Paprota said.

The Lacey Township detective bureau responded to the scene and is investigating.

@anne i feel your pain weve been robbed since we moved here too! lovely isnt it! yes they will get them but the jewelry is melted down by now i dont think anyone has the scruples to hold on to that stuff for more than the required 7days. i want to change that to 30 but dont know how to go about it. so along with all you lose then we have to put in alarms and cameras at our expense. personally i wanted to bill the thieves!!
