Lacey police officers responded to the wooded area between the Shop-Rite and Kohl’s on Dec. 7 in reference to a 14-year-old male found lying on the ground, "incoherent" and covered in vomit on Saturday, officials said.
The officers found the teen, described as "semi-conscious," at about 5:08 p.m., according to police.
Lacey Township First Aid Squad and paramedics responded and transported
the juvenile to Community Medical Center for treatment, police said.
The guardian of
the juvenile was notified of the situation by police, and the teen, described only as a resident of Lanoka
Harbor, was charged with underage consumption of alcohol on a juvenile complaint.
The matter is under continuing investigation, police said.
