Homeowner Reports More Than $5,000 Worth Of Equipment Stolen From Shed

Lacey police are investigation the theft of more than $5,000 worth of equipment from a shed sometime between Dec. 1 and June 1, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Officer Daniel Ricciardella responded to the 800 block of Oxgoose Drive in Lanoka Harbor at 11:18 p.m. on June 1f or a theft report. The resident reported that  an unknown person or persons entered his shed and stole property, including but not limited to a 17-foot canoe, a generator, an air compressor, batteries, and various tools, with a total value of $5,259, the chief said.

 There were no signs of forced entry to the shed he said..

When leaving your house for that long a span, ya might want to have someone come and check on it every few weeks. No family or friend then hire someone.

Lacey. Is full of vacation homes vacant most of the year. It is hard to sell a vacation house in a town with so much vandalism and break ins.
