4 Arrested on Drug Charges After Police Raid Home

Authorities charge two adults, two minors after two-month investigation

Four Lanoka Harbor residents were arrested on drug charges today after a two-month police investigation.

Township authorities executed a search warrant on an Oxford Road home that had been suspected of drug distribution and found $3,000 worth of marijuana, packaging and scales consistent with drug dealing, Detective Sgt. Chris Cornelius said in a release.

Police arrested Douglas Thomas, 54, Chris Schramm, 24, and two 16-year-old minors, Cornelius said.

Thomas is lodged in Ocean County Jail in lieu of $30,000 bail after being charged with possession of more than 50 grams of marijuana, intent to distribute more than one ounce of marijuana and intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of

Schramm was charged with possession of 50 grams or less of marijuana and jailed on an outstanding Ocean Township warrant.

The two minors were each charged with possession of marijuana, intent to distribute and intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of Cedar Creek. Both were released to their mother.

Lacey detectives were assisted by the Ocean County Sheriff's Department K-9 Unit.
