Forked River Woman Charged With Four More Burglaries

Lacey police have charged a Forked River woman already in the Ocean County Jail with four more residential burglaries, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Melanie Callari, 26, Penn Avenue North was previously arrested on June 2 for burglary and theft. She was chared again on June 9 with four additional residential burglaries, the chief said.

Detectives have been able to match jewelry pawned in Atlantic City to various burglaries in Lacey. The items have been recovered and returned to the owners, Paprota said.

Bail on the additional charges was set at $50,000. Callarie remains in the Ocean County Jail in Toms River.
