Forked River Woman Arrested For Allegedly Using Fradulent Prescription Blanks

Lacey woman was charged with obtaining Oxycodone by fraud

A Forked River woman was arrested for allegedly utilizing fraudulent prescription blanks.

Elizabeth Meyer, 40, of Forked River was arrested on July 19 at the completion of a narcotic investigation.

Meyer allegedly used fraudulent prescription blanks to obtain Oxycodone at three pharmacies in Lacey Township over a one-week period.

She was arrested at the Sea Pine Inn in Waretown and charged with possession of Oxycodone, obtaining a controlled dangerous substance by fraud, and forgery.

Meyer was sent to Ocean County Jail with her bail set at $75,000.
