Forked River Man Medevaced After Fall

Lacey police say a man was flown to the hospital in a medevac helicopter after suffering a fall at a Forked River house Saturday.

The man, whose name was not released, apparently fell 10 to 12 feet from a ladder onto a slab of concrete while cleaning his gutters, Lt. Michael Dibella said. Police responded to the home on Harzold Road at about 11:25 a.m.

DIbella said the 28-year-old man was alert and conscious, but due to a possible head injury was transported by helicopter to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune.

Lacey Township EMS, the Forked River Fire Department, and paramedics responded, Dibella said.

The man was listed as being in stable condition Saturday evening.
