Forked River Man Indicted on Charge of Assaulting Man With Wooden Log

Ocean County grand juries hand up indictments

A Forked River man is accused of assaulting a fellow Lacey resident this past summer.

Brandon R. Frawley, 19, of Jones Road was indicted last week on charges related to an alleged attack on a Lacey man July 24. Grand jurors found sufficient evidence to charge Frawley with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon, terroristic threat and conspiracy.

Frawley conspired with Aidan M. Dolly, 20, of Lanoka Harbor to plan an attack on a Lacey man, the indictment states, and subsequently went to the man's house armed with a knife.

Frawley allegedly told the victim, "I'm gonna gut you, I'm gonna kill you" when he confronted him and then assaulted him with a wooden log, the indictment states.

Frawley and Dolly both were initially jailed on $50,000 bail but both posted July 24, the day of the alleged assault.

Grand jurors also indicted:

  • William J. Hoefsloot of Parkside Drive on burglary and theft charges.

Hoefsloot, who faces numerous charges from several local arrests in the past year, allegedly broke into a Toyota Tundra June 14 in Berkeley and caused damage, the indictment states. He additionally stole a Bank of America credit card and a TD Bank credit card after burglarizing the vehicle, police said.

Hoefsloot faces two counts of credit card theft as well as burglary and criminal mischief charges for the June 14 incident.

However, he was and accused of , one of which he used at stores in Toms River and Brick.

Additionally,  In June, Hoefsloot was accused of  on March 13 in Lacey and using one of her credit cards at the Walmart in Lacey to buy a television and a Sony Playstation 3 game system.

Two days later, in Berkeley, Hoefsloot is accused of stealing another woman’s credit card and using it at the K-Mart in Toms River to buy a camera worth more than $500. On March 16, in Lacey, Hoefsloot was accused of having heroin.

  • Theresa A. Buglione, 35, of Toms River on theft charges.

Buglione stole jewelry from a Lacey woman between Nov. 1, 2010, and June 8, 2011, the indictment states. She also is accused of stealing a Wawa employees' credit union debit card from the same woman on Sept. 3.

Buglione was released on a summons.
