Forked River Man in Stable Condition After Fall

Also, two discharged from Jersey Shore University Medical Center and one in stable condition following accidents in Lacey

A Forked River man is in stable condition after , officials said.

Dorian Knorr, 28, was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center on Saturday, Oct. 1 after police reported to 113 Seabright Road in Forked River at 2:45 p.m. for a report of a fall.

MONOC First Aid airlifted Knorr to Jersey Shore. The Lacey EMS Squad also responded to the scene.

Police and EMS also responded to two motor vehicle accidents over the weekend.

On Saturday, Oct. 1, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center after a motor vehicle accident in Lacey.

Police reported to a one-car accident on Lacey Road, about a quarter-mile west of Spaulding Avenue at 8:16 p.m.

Stillwell’s Toyota Tacoma pickup truck was found with “extensive damage.” The cab of the truck was ripped from its frame and was found in the woods, police said.

MONOC paramedics airlifted Stillwell to Jersey Shore. Lacey EMS, Forked River Fire Department and the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department also responded to the scene.

Two people were discharged from Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune , officials said.

Sondra Tate, 36, of Lanoka Harbor and Raymond Lopez, 38, of the Bronx were taken to the hospital with head injuries after their cars collided at the intersection of Haines Street and Manchester Avenue.

Police reported that Tate was driving a Nissan Maxima, waiting to make a left turn from Haines Street onto Manchester Avenue southbound and turned into the path of a Ford F150 pickup driven by John Mitchell, 51, of Lanoka Harbor. Lopez was a passenger in Tate’s vehicle.

No charges have been filed in the accident, police said. MONOC First Aid and Lacey EMS also responded.
