Forked River Man Drives Into House, Pool; Faces DWI Charge

Drug charges also filed against Forked River resident

A Forked River man who police say drove his vehicle onto a Bullard Avenue property, through sections of fencing, and destroyed an above ground pool in the process is facing a driving while intoxicated charge.

Blake Patrovich, 21, collided with a residence on Lee Way before his vehicle finally came to a stop, police said. The incident occurred at 8:45 p.m. Sept. 8.

When police arrived, Officer George Resetar discovered marijuana and a marijuana smoking pipe in the vehicle, according to a report.

Patrovich was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and failure to maintain a lane.
