Officer Dimitri Tsarnas responded to a report or a hit-and-run at 5:31 p.m. on March 16. Witnesses provided a description of the vehicle that fled the scene, the chief said.

Police were able to locate the car and the driver, William D. Kurtz, 53, Forked River, Paprota said..

Kurtz was arrested and taken to police headquarters. He was also charged with reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident and failing to report an accident, the chief said.

@Leo...so why is booze fine to keep legal but pot is not? Alcohol is clearly more dangerous.

I completely agree with Mindless.Self.Indulgence I feel alcohol is much worse than pot. Alcohol has a more profound effect on ppl. Don't get me wrong I do not condone doing drugs or alcohol but I do feel pot is much safer than alcohol.
