Forked River Man Arrested On Four Outstanding Child Support Warrants

A Brookdale Park Drive man was taken into custody recently after police determined he had four outstanding warrants in back child support totaling over $22,000, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.
Special Officer Travis Horton was conducting a check of the Trestle located at 5000 Cedar Avenue in Lanoka Harbor at 5:46 p.m. on July 2 when he located and arrested Brendan A. Derflinger, 29, on the warrants issued by the Ocean County Sheriff's Department for non-support, the chief said.
The first warrant was for $7,737.85; the second for $5,829.98; the third for $5,575 and the fourth for $3,691.07.Derflinger was transported to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River in Toms River in default of bail, Paprota said.
