Forked River Man And Trenton Man Facing Drug Charges After Motor Vehicle Stop


Lacey police recently arrested a Forked River man and a Trenton man on numerous drug charges after a DUI checkpoint on Old Shore Road in Forked River, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Officer Noah Schaffer conducted the stop at 11:50 p.m. on May 23. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of the driver, Ryan J. Tatham, 25, Lakeside Drive South in Forked River and Kevin J. Kennedy, 20, Clinton Avenue South, Trenton, the chief said.

Both men were charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of hypodermic needles and possession of a controlled dangerous substance, Paprota said.

They were both transported to police headquarters, processed then released.
