Forked River Home Burglarized Today, $2,000 In Jewelry Stolen

Lacey police are asking for tips in connection with the burglary of a home in the 1000 block of Clifton Street today, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

The person or persons entered the home through an unlocked window between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. today and stole $2,000 worth of jewelry, the chief said.

Detective Brian Flynn along with the Criminal Investigations Unit (CIU) and a K-9 team from the Ocean County Sheriff's Department are on scene continuing the investigation, Paprota said.

Anyone with information related to the incident is asked to contact the Lacey Township Police Department at 609-693-6636 or utilize the “Crime Tips” section of the Lacey Township Police Department’s website atwww.laceypd.org/crime-tips to submit an anonymous crime tip.
