Warrants from South Toms River, Elsewhere Land Man On Megan's Law List In Jail

A 43-year-old man on the Megan's Law list was arrested this week on the strength eight different warrants from throughout the state - including one from Brick, police said.

One for Samuel Milligan of Berkeley was from Ocean County with a bail total of $1,500 for failure to register in accordance with the provisions of Megan’s Law, police said.

In addition, Milligan also had six other outstanding municipal warrants. These included two from Brick Township for $1,010 and $250.00, one from Beachwood for $814.00, and another from South Toms River for $274.00.

The other warrants were from Crandford for $250.00 and two from Mt. Holly for $1,000 and $500.00.

On Dec. 6 at 5:18 p.m., Milligan was transported to the Ocean County Jail in default of bail.  Ptl. Edward Hendrickson and Ptl.  Michael O’Connor were the arresting officers.
