Forked River Woman Facing Numerous Drug Charges

Chelsea Favor taken to Ocean County Jail after hospital treatment, police chief says

Lacey police recently arrested a Forked River woman on numerous drug charges after she was found unresponsive at a Canterbury Drive home, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Officers who responded to the home on April 10 and helped paramedics treat Chelsea Favor, 33. They discovered two bundles of heroin while they were assisting, the chief said.

Favor was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Officer Andrew Slota issued an arrest warrant for Favor. She was charged with possession of heroin including 18 full wax folds and eight wax folds containing residue, Paprota said.

Favor was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic needle. Police Officer George Resetar later arrested Favor. She was then transported to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River in lieu of $20,000 bail, the chief said.
