Police Make Drug Arrest In Woods Near Cedar Creek Bridge
Lanoka Harbor woman charged with possession of heroin, police chief says
Police have credited an alert resident with providing information that led to the arrest of a Lanoka Harbor woman on drug charges, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.
Officers Julie Barcalow, John Simonson and Lt. James Veltri responded to the call around 6 p.m. on April 8. The resident saw an out-of-state U-Haul van with a male driver and a female passenger leave Western Boulevard and drive into the woods just before the Cedar Creek Bridge, the chief said.
Police arrested Samantha Hajjar, 22, Fox Hollow Drive, Lanoka Harbor for possession of heroin and 22 wax folds of heroin. She was also charged with trespassing, Paprota said.
