Police Blotter: Lacey Residents Arrested on Superior Court Warrants

Ocean County Sheriff's Detectives arrested Lacey residents for alleged failure to comply with the county drug program and more

A Lanoka Harbor woman was arrested on a Superior Court Warrant for failure to comply with the Ocean County Drug Program.

Ocean County Sheriff’s Detectives arrested Janine Mezger, 29, of Clairmore Avenue on Dec. 2, 2011. She was processed and sent to the Ocean County Jail with no option for bail.

Mezger is a repeat offender, as she was indicted in April after forging and passing a check and a withdrawal slip on Aug. 4 and 5 at TD bank in Manchester Township.

Ocean County Sheriff’s Detectives also arrested three other Lacey residents during the month of December for Superior Court Warrants:

Nicholas Kijula, 26, of Lakeside Drive in Forked River was arrested on Dec. 1, 2011 on an Ocean County Superior Court Warrant for failing to appear for a status conference on original charges of burglary. Kijula was processed and sent to the Ocean County Jail with no option for bail.

Jennifer Bergstrom, 42, of West Point Pleasant Avenue was arrested on Dec. 5, 2011 on a Superior Court Warrant for failure to comply with the Ocean County Drug Court Program. She was processed and sent to the Ocean County Jail with no option for bail.

John E. Tibus, 44, of Georgetown Boulevard was arrested on Dec. 14, 2011 on an Ocean County Superior Court Warrant for failure to pay child support in the amount of $1,591. He was processed and sent to the county jail pending first appearance.
