Cops: Toms River Woman Stole Appliance From Lacey Kohl's, Returned It To Brick Store

Police in Lacey have issued an arrest warrant for a local woman who they say shoplifted a $449 Kitchen Aid appliance from the township's Kohl's store – then tried to return it to the Brick Kohl's store later the same day.

Police took the report of the Jan. 20 incident on Jan. 23. According to police, employees at the Brick store asked the woman – identified as 31-year-old Danielle Kwityn of Hovsons Boulevard in Toms River – for her driver’s license, consistent with store policy.

Kwityn was advised she was only going to receive store credit on the item, at which point she left the Brick store, according to a statement from police. The Brick and Lacey store employees eventually spoke, which resulted in the call to Lacey police.

Lacey police have issued an arrest warrant for Kwityn with bail set at $1,500.
