Copper Pipe, Water Pump and Air Conditioner Compressor Stolen From Vacant Home

Lacey Police are searching for whoever broke into a vacant home between Dec. 5, 2013 and April 11 and stole $4,500 of equipment, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Patrolman Keith Pearce responsded to the 500 block of Holmes Avenue South at 12:54 p.m. on April 11 on a report of a burglary at the home. The property manager told police that someone entered the house and stole a water pump, roughly 60 feet of copper baseboard heat pip and an air conditioner compressor unit, the chief said.

No signs of forced entry could be located. The theft and damage are estimated at a total of $4,500, Paprota said.
