Berkeley Police Investigating Recent Dunkin Donuts Burglary In Bayville

Burglary took place at 4 a.m. on Jan. 7

Police are looking for any information about the suspect who forced his way into the Dunkin Donuts on Route 9 in Bayville and stole money from the cash registers, Police Chief Karin T. DiMichele said.

Patrolman Timothy Pizzella responded to the store at 4 a.m. on Jan. 7 on a report of a burglary. Store management told police that an unknown person had entered the store and taken the money, the chief said.

"Forced entry was used to gain access to the building," DiMichele said.

Detective Joseph Santoro is investigation the incident. Anyone with any information is urged to call Santoro at 732-341-1132, ext. 120.

This is getting scary. A's hardware robbed. Jersey Mikes robbed at gunpoint. Dunkin Donuts robbed. I know there were more lately too. People need to play close attention to this local trend and be prepared. Watch your surroundings and dont leave yourselves vulnerable. Especially women. Something tells me drugs are behind most of these and that makes it even more scary.
