Lacey police recently arrested a Beachwood man who was driving while on
the suspended list for multiple previous driving under the influence
offenses, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.
Special Officer Jesse Urban
conducted a traffic stop in the parking lot of the Walmart on Route 9 North in Lanoka Harbor at 11:11 a.m. on May 8.
Urban determined that the driver, Francis Burke, 67, Ensign Avenue, was driving while on the suspended list for a number of previous drunk driving offenses, the chief said.
Burke was taken to police headquarters and charged with the fourth degree criminal violation and also charged with driving on the suspended list and failure to install an ignition interlock device, Paprota said.
