During the collision, which occurred near Cambridge Road, a rear wheel and wheel assembly separated from the vehicle and continued to travel down the roadway until it struck a 2003 Dodge Caravan, driven by Margaret Peleman. Peleman, of Bayville, was not injured, according to police.
