Police recently arrested an Asbury Park man on
drug charges after they responded to a call at the State Game Farm, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.
Patrolman Robert Flynn answered the call at 6:21 p.m. on July 18, on a report of a male with a controlled dangerous substance at Ocean Residential, 1 Game Farm Road, the chief said.
Dante Allen, 18, was arrested after an investigation at the scene. He was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, Paprota said.
Allen was taken to police headquarters, then transported to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River in lieu of $2,500 bail, the chief said.
