80-Year-Old Lacey Woman Arrested, Charged With Drunken Driving After Crash
An 80-year-old Lacey woman has been charged with drunken driving after she was involved in a recent accident, police said.
Teresa Murray was charged with driving under the influence and was transported to headquarters for processing. She was then released after receiving traffic summonses for DUI, DUI refusal, reckless driving and failure to maintain a lane, police said.
On Dec. 20 at 7:57 p.m., Officer Michael Verwey responded to the 400 block of Nautilus Boulevard in Forked River on a motor-vehicle accident report. A vehicle had struck an unoccupied parked vehicle, police said.
An investigation at the scene led to the arrest of the driver, Murray, police said. The vehicle was impounded pursuant to John’s Law.
