2 Lacey Residents Indicted, 3 Arrested

Two Penn Avenue, Forked River, residents are accused of breaking into a home on Lake Avenue and robbing and beating the woman who lived there.

Andrew G. Lupton, 27, and Linda Martinez, 30, are charged in an indictment voted by an Ocean County grand jury with breaking into the home of Debra Ness, robbing her, and committing an aggravated assault on her on June 1. Both remain in the Ocean County Jail unable to post $200,000 bail

Arthur F. Whelan, 34, of Lake Hiawatha, accused of having a stolen debit card Dec. 8 in Barnegat and using it at the Quick Food Mart there, the WaWa in Waretown, 7-Eleven and McDonald’s in Lacey, Cumberland Farms, McDonald’s and Little John’s Deli in Berkeley, 7-Eleven in Pine Beach and Toms River, all on the same day.

John Hofer, 44, of Hillwood Road, Forked River did not pay $6,957 in child support.

Keith Sisler, 20, of Sinclair Avenue, Lanoka Harbor, was accused of violating the probation he was on for burglary.

Courtney Hrynyk, 26, of Cactus Drive, Lanoka Harbor, was charged with violating the probation he was on for drug possession.
