Veteran's Day

Today is Veteran's Day and I would like to express my gratitue to all those whom have and are curently serving our country.  As a veteran of the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force and an Air National Guard retiree, I know what we go through to keep this country great.  Many take what we do for granted and that is ok with me and is how it should be.  However, I know and I am greatful!

That being said, why does Lacey TWP School District require our children to go to school on this national holiday while at the same time allow them to take two days off so the teacher's union can bring the teachers down to Atlantic City for a 4 day weekend?  Where are our priorities???
