The Lacey Recall; Where did the 20 million go?
Where did the almost 20 million dollars really go? I have been asking since 2009 and have not gotten an answer that I can understand yet.
It is because this School Board has been trying so hard not to answer that question and with arrogant responses like the last accounting did not make sense much less able to reconcile the numbers. When this Board was pressed for an explanation, the just repeated the same explanation over and over. Word for word! It did not make any sense the first time or the sixth time.
This explanation was even placed on the BOE web site in writing. After trying to analyze it, it would appear we lost $450,000 dollars. Yes last year, we would have paid $450,000 less for the electricity, if we never did the Solar Project!
The problem is this current School Board has yet to supply the profit / loss statement yet. At least nothing that adds up. Please will one of two Newley elected Board Members last November, please answer the question; WHERE DID THE 20 MILLION DOLLARS GO?
