Public employee salaries

I was watching the last school board meeting and watched Regina D. Stating emphatically that school employees earning $50,000 or more should not be eligible for many benefits such as clothing allowance, and association dues( many which have a membership requirement by statute). My question to the patch world is do you believe $50,000 is an extravegant wage for a professional
