pawn shops

Hello I am a concerned lacey township resident. I feel because of the drug epidemic going on in this town we don't need a pawn shop to make it easier for people to steal and just walk down the road to the pawn shop to get easy cash. I tried numerous times to go to the pawn shop and sell things but disappointed when they want to give me a fifth of what they will sell it for. There has been instances when the shops have purchased stolen goods and when reported were still able to sell the item back to the person who filed a police report. so not only do they still make a profit but they don't even get in trouble or care. I know its not their fault for doing what they do but it would be nice if it wasn't in our town. pawn shops are morally wrong and sad. If they want to buy and sell then open up an ebay store and do it like an auction where you would make a percentage not a huge mark up and take advantage of people in the wrong state of mind.
