Some folks really helped my wife and I and We didn’t get an opportunity to thank them. We were drifting for fluke in the Oyster Creek channel in the area of Buoy #37when we were swamped by the wake of three large boats. My wife and I climbed up to the bow of the boat to try and raise the transom out of the water so the pump could catch up, but more boasts kept passing and pushing more water into the boat. We had taken on enough water that I was afraid that our boat might roll over when a couple in another boat stopped to see if we needed help. They took us under tow and by moving we were able to get the water flowing over the back and out of the boat, the pump and bailing took care of the rest. Our helpers were following us in to make sure we got in alright but pulled off before we got back in the harbor. We weren’t able to get their names so I hope they get a chance to read this. We really appreciate them taking their time to render us assistance. It was great that they risked their own boat to help us out. Thanks again!
