John E. Calder, 55, of Forked River, passed away Monday, June 23, 2014, at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was a self-employed contractor.
Surviving are his mother, Marge Calder; son, Eric Calder; love of his life, Bernadette Tesauro Acerra and children, Louis and Michelle Acerra.
He was a lover of all animals and rescued many. John will be truly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 25 at the Francioni, Taylor & Lopez Funeral Home, 1200 10th and Atkins Ave., Neptune. A Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 26 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Asbury Park. Interment to follow at Good Luck Cemetery, Lacey.
